1. Any way to do dough on Thur and bake Fri for fresh Challah?
2. if so, would you refrigerate dough overnite? does it affect taste?
3. Practical way to wash sticky dough off mixing bowl?

Thank you

Good Shabbos, Happy Adar!

Sprinkle some flour onto the sticky sides of the bowl until you can scrape most of it off with your fingers. Don't waste it, add it to your dough.

during the winter I always make the dough thurs night, let it rise for a few minutes (like 10) and then put it in the fridge. I take it out friday about 1.5-2 hours before im ready to braid so it has enough time to warm up and rise.
I get out as much doush as I can and then immediatly fill with water in the sink and it cleans very easily. you can also try lightly oiling the bowl maybe? never tried that tho and it may effect the dough.

You can definitely refrigerate dough overnight. Depending on how it rises, it may have a slightly more yeasty flavor.

To wash the bowl, fill it with cool water and let it soak, then wash with cool water. Hot water makes the dough stick to the bowl.

You can definitely let the dough rise overnight in the frig. Cover it lightly with something like wax paper sprayed with a little cooking spray and with a kitchen towel over it and let it rise overnight. Take it out in the morning, punch it down and braid it. It'll be delicious.
