I love the music and his lyrics are like poetry but can anyone help me understand the lyrics?

My current favorite Owl City song is "When Can I See You Again?", which is the credits song to Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph":
I don't particularly love the official music video, so here's a dance I like to the first minute of the song. 
There's a lightness to all Owl City songs; even the "sad" ones have a sweet wistfulness.
