Hi, I'm wondering what the going rate is for both 1:1 and groups. Anyone out there know? TIA!

$42 an hour for one child. About 60 for a group of two. Goes up to about $100 an hour for a group of five. But it's very hard to arrange groups, and most people who are doing it are working for agencies, and making much less than that.

depends if you work private (BOE) or for agency.

But as runninglate said, agencies pay considerably less. Personally I don't think professionals should put up with the ripoffs, it messes up the market for the rest of us. But that's the way it is so far, I've turned down offers as ludicrous as $35 an hour for a group of 5 when the DOE pays $100 for that.
