What has you experience been with nerofeedback. My 6th grader cannot sit still and focus and school wants him on Ritalin. DH is strongly against Ritalin we have tried fish oil and diet which did not help

We tried it for several years with my DS. It calmed him during the sessions and imediately afterwards, but we saw no long lasting effects.
It cost a bundle, too.
Ultimately, we went with medication and counseling.

Therapy helped and medication helped. Neurofeedback didn't.
