We have no money this year for presents and My dh has expensive taste and would rather nothing than something cheap. I personally think that even if you give a dollar present it's meaningful. Problem is I am out of ideas on what to give a guy who only likes expensive things or would rather nothing. I want it to be meaningful. Any ideas?

A card I always do but I want a cheap meaningful present. I can spend up to $100 but I want something that is more the thought than the value of the item.

How about a nice robe with monogram and all.
A cashmere scarf or sweater.
I once enlarged a wedding picture of us on canvas and placed it in MBR.
Cufflinks.
Monogrammed shirt.
A down pillow.
Nice wine for shabbos.
Hope you do find something nice.

what sorta things does your dh like to do? if he likes bbq-ing then I have a couple ideas... that wld even work in the winter. (check out a stovetop smoker and woodchips)
can you get cufflinks or $100 cuff links arent expensive enough.

Would he like something DIY?
I didn't have time or money to get something for dh once so I made him this little booklet that said __ (you can fill in 5, 10, 20 etc) reasons I love you
On each page there was a reason with a little voucher underneath. Some vouchers had to do with the reason eg: reason #3 you always help me clean up even when you are tired
and the voucher was worth 1 extra sink of washing up.

It came out really cute and dh LOVED it!

How about a reservation at a nice restaurant? That way you can both enjoy it.

A Brookstone gift card is always appreciated! For those who are not familiar, it's an electronics/home goods store with gadgets any man would like.

So funny - I also got the fragrance sampler for my very picky DH and he loved it. It was a huge hit.

Also in typical fashion he never chose a fragrance to get the full bottle and now it's 4 years later and we still have the certificate for the full bottle sitting in a drawer (I think taking up valuable space in my hallway console ...)

You can definitely get very nice places on priceline or hotwire for $100. You can try checking out betterbidding.com to figure out what areas to look in for a 4* hotel.

Does your DH like beer, wine, whiskey. can you buy him a bottle you would like. You can dress it up to make it fun.
If you would be interested in that you can check out:

You can add a wall mounted bottle opener for added fun.

Sometimes if a gift is fun it doesn't have to be expensive.
