I am clueless to the world of smartphones/iPhones etc but I did convince DH to let me get one!!!
Where can I purchase one for a reasonable price? Also, any recommendations? I have Sprint.

I stick with the Andriods since it has a real keyboard not just a touchscreen. The only other phone with a keyboard is the blackberry, but they are being discontinued.
If you are due for an upgrade, the phones will be cheap. Otherwise, you can look for an unlocked phone on ebay.

The iPhone has made my life so much easier and way more awesome! I don't know what I did without it. It's of course a matter of preference, and I'm sure you'll get varying reaponses, but I've had both and strongly recommend the iPhone over the others.

I'll rephrase: I am only familiar with the iPhone since I have an iPod touch. But am not familiar with any others so I asked!

I'm very happy with my iphone. Also, any apps/music you paid for on your touch will be free on your iphone. Some people like samsung galaxies. I have a galaxy tab and I don't find it as intuitive as my iphone at all, but possibly the phones are better. I only really use it when I need the big screen, ie reading books, watching movie clips. For emails I find the iphone much easier to use. Not all androids have keyboards btw.
