I got some midhloach manos left at my door that were clearly not meant for me, but I don't know who left them, nor whom they were for. ( for example it's not for me bec it said to our dear mechutanim and my kids are little.) I left it outside but no one claimed it. What do I do w it?
Also, there was another one on my doorstep that seemed very expensive, but when I asked the sender she said it was for me. Which Is odd bec I barely know her. Anyhow, I was on my way out by the time I spoke to her and got back late so I couldn't send anything back to her. I feel do guilty. Any point in sending her something now?
Anon bec I mentioned this IRL.

shalach manos is not an obligation - it's a mitzva ... not intended as tit for tat or for an entire neighborhood

If the mm for the "mechatunim" wasn't claimed by now, just take it and do whatever you want with it.
Two days after purim...no one wants to receive anymore mm. What was sent was sent...and the expensive looking mm might not have been so expensive or it was re-gifted. Just smile and say thanks.

That's what I figured, just confirming it was ok. Thanks Smile
