Wow, you ladies are amazing. I am so touched to read all your responses and offers of help. Reading everything posted here reminded me of some things to include. I forgot that he has substituted all year in different yeshivos and he loved it. He also observed for a week and then taught that class several times. I know he was good because the wife of that rebbe called to tell me. Oh, and he also has smicha from Dirshu but I didn't think to include it, now I think I will. The thing is, while he thinks these are all great attributes, I worry that the menahalim don't care how much smicha one has as long as they can relate to children. Should I include it under Education?
When I said he has no other skills, I meant more of that I can't see him doing anything else. He won't hear of anything else and has set his sites on being in chinuch. I know he'll be good at it because I'm his wife and because he wants to do it so badly, but I'm looking for a way to make him stand out so that the menahel sees he's good at it and will hire him.
I will write the cover letter. There are so many good ideas here, now I can't wait to get started.
Thank you everyone!!!!

OP again. Also, he would love to work somewhere for free to gain experience but there just is nothing available. We live in a place where over a hundred men look for Rebbe jobs each year and the amount of job openings is scarce, it is almost laughable. I will encourage him to look for a position like that though.

Great!
Smicha belongs in the education section.
Also, you might want to consider looking at positions out of town...it could be less competitive.
I know of one OOT community (but still in the tristate area) that I think might have an opening or two for next year. you can pm me if you like.
Good luck!
