Traditional cake pops are not made with a pan. You make a cake, smash it, mix the crumbs with frosting, roll into balls and coat.

Thanks! I saw it on Amazon but assumed it was silicone because of the light blue color. I just read that its metal.
Can you use any cake recipe (Im thinking of making them with a Pesach brownie or chocolate cake recipe). How do you grease the form?
