I have a ceramic cook top and my rav does not hold that you can kasher it. Any ideas what I can do for pesach besides buy a new one?

does it have burners above the ceramic? I don't kasher my cooktop, I just clean it well. I do put the burners in my self-cleaning oven, but I don't think that's technically necessary. my burners are just a pain in the neck to clean, and I'm lazy.
