Both bids are first time bidders with 0 history of bidding. I wonder if they are real

Big deal. remember the year someone posted his chometz (a few crumbs, not a pantry full of food) on ebay? And someone bid on it, too.

Since when do rabbonim bless objects? They make blessings ON objects before eating or otherwise enjoying them or performing a mitzvah with them, just as we all do, and they may give blessings TO people, just as we all are also capable of doing. Are we turning into Catholics lehavdil, vying for objects "blessed" and thus invested with special powers by a priest? eeewwww.

Unless the rav blessed the garlic that it should grow and flourish. I'll bid on that. Been trying for years to grow garlic, so far no success.
