My food processor that I used to mix up batches of dough burned out. I tried my tried and true pizza dough recipe by hand a few times but it doesn't work by hand. Does anyone have an awesome pizza dough recipe that can be made by hand? Ty!

Thanks pineapple!
My kids are pretty discerning when it comes to pizza dough- I can't complain since they get the pizza gene from me - how does the dough turn out after baked?

Fleishmans, the Yeast company, makes a really good pizza yeast. It comes in a green packet. Just follow the directions on the packet. The pizza comes out really good and the crust is perfect. It only takes a few minutes and it doesn't have to rise.

Funny, I've never made pizza dough in a machine and it comes out good.

they certainly didn't have mixers when they invented pizza ... but hey it makes it easier ...
psa - when you hear a motor running slow - don't continue - stop & let the motor rest or you will risk a burnout
a standing mixer with kneading hook will be effective
as will hands ... it's not in the recipe - always let the dough rest for 5 or 10 minutes so it will be less sticky
