Any information on Kosher Tours - either to Niagara Falls or to other short (2 nights?) destinations?
Thanks!
Alternately, any info on going to Niagara Falls via Amtrak and getting around without a car?

Amtrak does go to Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Check out http://www.amtrak.com/home. And they can also give you trip suggestions. In terms of kosher food in the area, during the summer the Canadian side of the Falls (which you can access by foot/car if you have either passports or special enhanced drivers licenses) has both milchig and fleishig restaurants. Buffalo has a supermarket called Tops and one particular Tops (on Maple, I believe) has a kosher "deli". It's not very close to the Falls though. That's pretty much it for kosher eating there. Both the American and Canadian sides have multiple hotels of varying prices and parts of the towns are really tacky but fun to walk around in. But what you really want to do is take advantage of all the things there are to do at the Falls. On the American side there is Cave of the Winds (the best fun) and on the Canadian side is the Journey Beneath the Falls. On both sides you can access the Maid of the Mist. It's a fun trip. Since we live only an hour away we have always gone frequently so we are not so impressed anymore, but you will be! If you have any other questions, you can certainly PM me.
