I am considering Adelphia Yeshiva HS in Howell NJ for my son for next year. Has anyone had any experience with this school, its dorm, etc?

yes, it's a very different school than it used to be. Rabbi Trenk split & started a different yeshiva. It's no longer for "wild" boys - it's for good boys now. My husband went there as well & we're very very happy now. I haven't heard of any abuse either.

any idea if it would be appropriate for a very good boy who happens to have ADHD and some emotional difficulties (he gets sad sometimes and frustrated sometimes). He would be dorming from out of town and needs a warm nurturing environment. Thank you to everyone who has responded thus far. I really appreciate your input.

I know this is an old thread. Does anyone have current info on this yeshiva? Specifically, what is the daily routine like? Is there drugs there(honestly)? Boys expected at davening and in shiur, or can they hang out in dorm and not be accountable? Do the Rabbaim encourage the boys to want to succeed? Thanks so much..
