Hi! Does anyone know if the mini danishes from Yerushalayim Bakery from Costco are yashan? On the box it just says it is pas yisroel and nothing more.

I know! I just called the company, but the girl who answered the phone didn't know. I guess part of me hoped that it was yashan haha!

It is definitely NOT yoshon as per the Mashgiach. I spoke to him about this bakery specifically a few weeks ago.

By the way, many items are Yoshon even if not marked as such. Your are welcome to ask me about individual products and if I do not know, I will try to find out for you. That is what I do all day anyway.

working hard - can I ask you something if you don't mind
are icecream cakes from sprinkles yoshon (didn't find it in the guide) & the ice cream cakes from Klein (someone bought us from Kleins - when asked if yoshon, we were told Kemach Yoshon, but when checked the ingredients it had some sort of barley (don't have it in front of me)--so we didn't eat it bec that wasn't part of the kemach.

Klein's is Yoshon. Sprinkles I do not know. I do not think I will be able to get an answer before Pesach. I will try to find out for next year.

The market pantry pasta has a 2 year shelf life. The cut off date for the wheat used in pasta is August 25, so the cut off date for this product would be 25AUG2016Y#, the number following the Y does not matter. The Y is the factory code. The package you have may be Chodosh as it was produced after the factory already had Chodosh wheat. Any packages with a date earlier than August 25 are Yoshon
