Anyone have a tried and delicious glazed salmon recipe? I can't find mine. It was basically sugar water boiled on low till it turned into a glaze, then added onions and carrots, very simple to prepare but I need the amounts. Can anyone help me?

Thank you oot Bubby that sounds delicious but we don't use ketchup, brown sugar, or honey Sad

Need something using basically sugar, onions, orange juice or lemon juice etc.

You can use this homemade duck sauce
http://imamother.com/forum/vie.....sauce

Or use this sauce

Batter Fried Chicken Strips

2 tsp oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 eggs
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup water
1 3/4 cup potato starch
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. chicken cutlets, cut into 1" strips
oil, for frying

Combine oil, paprika, salt, garlic, pepper, and eggs. Add baking powder, potato starch, and water. Mix until batter is smooth and thick. Add chicken strips and toss to coat.
Heat oil in saucepan over medium-high heat. Deep fry chicken strips until golden brown and crispy. Place on papertowels to absorb excess oil and ensure that chicken remains crispy.

Sweet and Tangy Dipping Sauce

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 garlic clove, crushed (optional)
ginger
1 Tbsp chrain
2 tsp potato starch
2-3 Tbsp cold water
1 pinch salt

Place the sugar in a small saucepan over low heat. Carmelize the sugar, swirling the pot to mix. When just carmelized, add the orange juice. The sugar will harden, so mix with a wooden spoon until the sugar melts again and is incorporated well.
Add the optional garlic, and ginger, and cook over low heat for 6-8 minutes. Let cool completely. Add the chrain and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Mix the potato starch with 2-3 Tbsp cold water; mix well. Add to the sauce and cook until it thickens. Season with a pinch of salt. Let cool.

Ra_mom, is a chometz version of the chicken strips just a matter of subbing the potato starch with flour?

I think corn starch would be a good sub for the potato starch.
If you use flour you will likely have to increase the starch by 1/3.
