We are spending the first days YT and Chal Hamoed in Upstate NY. Where would be a nice little place to go with a 3yo (and infant), so that we can "get away" a little? Nothing too popular/ crowded.

My husband is willing to drive to NJ but not as far as NYC. Maximum 3/4 hour drive is ok.

Any ideas?

Can you be a bit more specific?

"Upstate New York" can be Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, the Catskills, the finger lakes, the Adirondacks, the Canadian border, and all those places can be up to 7 hours or more from each other. If you are staying in the Catskills, and I suggest something in 'Upstate NY" in the Buffalo area, you will be in the car all day.
