It happens last night. I put it on 550 and suddenly it was locked on self clean. I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't. I disconnected the oven. This morning when I connected the oven the door is still locked and the oven wouldn't turn on at all. The electricity is completely off. Wwyd

it could be you either shorted the oven ...

or maybe it blew a fuse ...

is it only the oven? or an area of the house ...

does this line have a surge protected outlet which might need resetting ...

does the oven have a manual with trouble shooting advice

good luck

What is your oven make you van google it and see if the info is online. Also I have found the call centers are very helpful for appliance companies

When that happened to me the oven was killed. The major control board had shorted out. I had to disconnect the power to the oven by pulling the circuit breaker, then leaving it off long enough for the oven to total cool off. Then I reconnected it and could open the oven, but it didn't work at all and needed to be replaced.

I hope your news is better than mine was.

Check all your circuit breakers ovens are usually direct lines with nothing else on it. You can also try by plugging something alse that you know is working into the outlet to see if its the outlet or the oven that's not working now
