I don't freeze or save things I buy normally. We go through tons of coffee a year. Same with tea and sugar. It's the same price for Pesach and I really can't understand why anyone woudl save something like plain old sugar. We do save salt because I bought it in the big plastic salt container. It should last Ad 120. Pepper too, in the pepper shaker. I use about 3 shakes a year but dh likes to have it so we save it. We eat matzah & matzah meal year round so those things just get used up before Purim next year.

I don't save anything that's open

I anyway use salt ,spices , oil ,sugar throughout the year

I did put away 1 walnut oil and 2 potato starch as they are closed and they don't expire till the end of 2015
