I always thought that sefira starts right after Pesach, someone told me today that you can do everything until rosh chodesh, is it true ? I love my music.

there are different minhagim ...
some start from pesach until lag b'omer
other start from rosh chodesh iyar through the end
others keep the entire sefira - excluding lag b'omer

Your choice: from Pesach until Lag b'Omer or from Rosh Chodesh until Shavuos. You can change from year to year.

I learned that Rav Moshe said that you can change from year to year in extenuating circumstances, but I also heard that some say that if you do so, you have to do hataras nedarim first. So definitely AYLOR.

Which Chasidim, many go like the AriZal, from Pesach till after Shavuos... Some just Pesach till Lagbomer
