I vaguelly recall asking that same question and being told that if it's a roll it's mezonos (rice being the dominant part) while if it's nigiri (the one with fish on top of a rice ball) it's mezonos and shahakol.

I make a Bracha on both parts since I don't know which Bracha to make.
Also, for me, the Ikur is the fish Smile

I say the rice is the dominant part of sushi (at least in terms of ratio) so mezonos.

I make Ha'adama because that is the bracha that I make on rice.... That wasn't an option though so I did not vote. I do know many people that take it apart and make a brocha individually on each item. Usually by the end of the roll I just pick out the fish and then I make a shehakol.

I find something else to make a mezonos on and something else to make ha'adama on.
I NEVER eat the fish kind.

There is a question about a meat knish, where mezonos would normally take precedence, but perhaps the meat is more choshuv. I don't know what the answer is, but I would think more so for sushi because the reason you fish eaters are eating it is presumably for the fish, the rice might be more to hold the thing together.
