I would like to make the muffins and cookies which was futured in the ami mag 2 weeks ago. I don't like honey and would like to know what's the best to us instead but still would be healthy. thx

guava syrup. its very sweet, so u can use less of it then honey or sugar.

Brown sugar. You'd probably have to add a bit more of any liquid in the recipe or water.

Agave nectar, but it's expensive if you can't find it on sale. Grocery Outlet gets it sometimes for really cheap.

You can make your own sugar syrup if you want a liquid texture. All you need is water, sugar and a couple of minutes.

I substitute silan (date honey) for honey in all kinds of recipes. Cheaper!
