My husband wants me to look into buying a good coffee machine/maker one that I can use my own coffee. Whatever I look at is like the keurig that uses their little coffee sachets/containers. I need specifically one that I can use for the nescafe coffee. Anyone can offer their advice and experience it will be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a machine that brews individual cups, or a coffee pot type of item?
We have a Mr. Coffee pot/maker, it makes up to 10 or 12 cups of coffee, and we love it. You can use any coffee grounds.

you answered your own query ...
however many coffee machines make washable baskets in place of the paper thingys - as well - but you have to know what your machine takes as the sizes vary slightly I.e. round/pointy - 4 cup / 12 cup
