Tell me all of your frugel tips to save and be cheap.

Write down your income, then write down expenses before food eg insurance, school fees, mortgage /rent, see exactly what you spending and what is not necessary...be aware what you spending even keep a written cheshbon- you will be surprised what you save!
Shop with a proper list DONT walk the isles many a time you buy what u have already at home
Try your best to look after the furniture,appliances etc you have so you don't have to replace!
When using detergents especially washing powder and softener use much less the manufacturers give you the max dosage that won't break your appliance!and they will last longer
Buy specials/bulk only what you will use for that month only, else you spending money that is needed for something else
Try stretch things eg add ground potatoes,carrots etc to mince. When using puff pastry roll it out to half it's thickness and it will go twice as far
Make from scratch where you can baked goods, dips,yogurt etc
Find ways to reuse leftovers eg a few pieces of chicken not enough for round2 becomes a delicious chicken pie add a side and a " free" supper
Don't overdo entertaining you don't need 5course Shabbas meal with 2kinds of everything eg gefilte fish/salmon not both, chicken or meat etc
Find a family member with kids a bit older than yours that keeps their clothes we'll get hand me ups
Save electricity, Switch off unnecessary lights/fans/heaters when not in the room
When printing use a smaller thinner font and set printer quality to draft Saves printer ink

Where would you like the bookcase delivered? You're asking for kol haTorah kulah al regel achas. Do a search under "frugal living", "saving money" "money management" and similar terms, as there have been many such threads over the years.

Better yet, do a regular Internet search. There are countless frugal living websites and every one is bound to have something of use to you.

If you have access to a public library, check out the "Cheapskate" books by Jeff Yeager, The Complete Tightwad Gazette, and Penny Pincher's Almanac: Hints & Tips on Living Well for Less--among others.

and then there's always mrmoneymustache.com although that can be a bit over the top. a few months of lurking there and I'm tempted to shower less frequently and sit in the dark when I eat my dinner.
