In a last minute situation I was put into a position where I will have to prepare food for the 2 night meals during shavous. What are some easy, quick recipes for main and side dishes, that aren't too time consuming? Desserts I have all planned out. (Isn't that the best part?!?)
TIA

Super easy mains:
Cornish Hens- recipe in BY cookbook, absolutely delicious
Pastrami- comes ready made, ready pickled, all you need to do is add water, cover and bake.
Chicken with sauce- there are some super easy, 1-2-3 recipes that I found on imamother that taste delicious.
Steak- you can always grill a steak on the grill pan/grill!
Shnitzel- you can even fry on yom tov. Serve with a good sauce.
Soups: I find chicken soup to be the easiest.
Sides: Simple veggie side dishes. Some examples: Roasted asparagus, roasted herbed baby tomatoes, roasted herbed baby potatoes, stuffed mushrooms (takes about 10 minutes or less to prepare), sweet potato and regular potato fries baked, roasted mini zucchini
Salads
