Blender, 2 ready pie crusts, 4 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 16 oz cream cheese.... Basically the original recipe comes from Philadelphia brand cream cheese, and includes a bit of vanilla. Makes 2 pies.

The implement you use for your cheesecake depends on your recipe. Miine calls for stiffly beaten egg whites. You can't beat egg whites in the blender and you generally want to fold them into the rest of the batter quite gently. Therefore I use a hand mixer to whip the egg whites and then incorporate them into the cheese batter by hand.

I used an immersion blender with the whisk attachment. Then folded in the egg whites by hand at the end.

I beat the egg whites with an electric mixer and then whisk it together with the cheese and other ingredients. It comes out delicious - smooth and creamy.

I use an immersion blender for my pareve vegan cheesecakes, and a fork or spoon for my no bake dairy cheesecakes.
