We've been looking for a house for a little while. Before we had a 'main' realtor who was showing us a few houses, we called a different realtor who's sign was up in front of a house. He showed us the house and have had it in the back of our minds. In the meantime we've gone to a few houses with this other realtor and haven't liked anything she showed us. Is it ok to go back to that other realtor who's sign is up in front of the original house we looked at if we want to look at that house again?
Also, is there any difference in the price a buyer can get if he goes through the direct realtor VS. a realtor unassociated with the property?
Thanks!

I'm a little confused which realtor you're referring to, but if you originally saw a house with a certain realtor, you must continue to pursue it through him/her. It's not right to try to go behind his back and buy it through somebody else instead.
As far as cost/fees, if the realtor whose sign is out front has an exclusive listing, he will have to get some of the commission even if you use another broker. This is called co-broking, and they'll have to split the commission, which will be even harder for you to negotiate. If there's only 1 agent involved, it's easier to get him to agree to cut his fee to make a deal.
