I like to give my children's teachers/rebbes a gift at the end of the school year. I am w buss owner would it be a good idea to give them q gift card to my bussiness? I will give something small along with it.
Thoughts?

They might feel uncomfortable redeeming a gift card at your business, and they might feel pressured to buy something they don't like. Can you give them an actual product?
Or, even better, if you can, give them a Visa card.

It sounds more like a promotion for your business than a gift.
A true gift comes with no obligations or strings attached.

I would feel uncomfortable. As a teacher, checks are also uncomfortable. A gift card or cash is appreciated most.
Oh, and just putting it out there, I HATE getting soaps! And perfumes and makeup! So totally weird for me to get.

I think it depends on what they can get. What kind of products? If there are items they would appreciate and are generally given as gifts, then I think it's a good idea (from a teacher's perspective).
Or you can give them an actual product and it will be worth "more" since you are getting it cost price.

Depends on what the business is and how far it is from where they live. In our kids' school in Manhattan, contest prizes were always gift certificates to Judaica stores in Monsey. Thanks for nothing.
