Walked around Sams Club pushing a shopping cart. Took my friend around 5 minutes to realize I was nursing the baby!

Aw, if I can't be anon, I don't know that I'm gonna share...
Well, I walked around the Bronx Zoo with DS in a baby carrier with a zipper in the back. He was snackin' away.

Do you all wear baby carriers while nursing? I'm impressed!

did alot while nursing especially when the twins were little. but then I suffered alot of problems so I started nursing only lying down preferably in calm atmosphere with door closed. somehow, I notice that morning and evenings have me multitasking despite all my best decisions:(
prep dinner plates
tie kids shoes
fasteened kids buttons (doesnt work well cuz need 2 hands)
got kids ready for school
run up and down stairs (not for exercise )
waited at the door (closed!) for carpool
eat (ma why is there beet juice on the babys clothes?)
wash kids negel vasser (prop baby on counter)
sewed a button (works on bed)
make calls
read
imamother (I'm nursing right now!!)
say tehillim (nursing cover is great)
done in school, docs office, taxi, car, plane, restaraunt, anywhere needed. unapologetically.
Best was when my friends dd came around and she couldnt figure out WHAT I was doing. I told my friend that I was educating her daughter for her

Made an omelet (or maybe it was scrambled eggs).
Beat eggs w some salt & oil the night before, put in fridge.
Put pan, spatula & oil ready on the counter.
Presto, one-handed omelet.
(I know, sounds hazardous, but I made sure baby was far from the flame.)
I am not recommending anyone try this at home.

For all the women who say they cant breastfeed in public. Whats the problem?
Im a first time exclusive breastfeeder and I have fed my baby in a crowded bituach leumi office, at the zoo, on busses at yom hashoa program, restaurants ....
I have a large shawl that covers me up 360• and I can peel inside when I need to latch or re latch my baby.
Once I was feeding my baby at a bus stop and boarded a bus and sat down with her still feeding. How can u ever go out without feeding your child? Also many women feed their children while they are being worn in a carrier but I haven't yet been succesful at that.

I was never productive while nursing. I ate a lot. My mother couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing weight given how many calories nursing uses up. But I ate faster than the kids.
