Pour some baking soda on it and spray with water to form a paste. Let it sit for a few hours then rinse off in cold water to check if stain was removed. Don't know if this will work for ketchup but it's worked for me for other hard to remove stains. HTH

Have you tried oxy clean powder? I find that stuff works on most stains. Make a liquidy paste and leave on for a while, then wash normally.

I also have used oxyclean successfully for stains. I make a paste with the oxyclean powder, liquid laundry detergent and a little water. Then scrub it on with a toothbrush and let it sit for awhile.
