I am having an anxiety attack about fasting. I am a horrible faster and my children are very challenging. It's not for 3 weeks and I can't stop thinking about it. What kind of punishment will I get for not fasting? I'm seriously thinking about just doing it till chatzos. My children end up suffering so badly. Any input is appreciated!

Ask a shayla. You may be allowed to eat with shiurim.

Do you have anyone who can help you, a husband, family member or a babysitter you can hire. I arrange to have help the whole day on tisha baav and yom kippur so that I can fast in peace.

Definitely ask a rav. Last year I got a heter to break it but I didn't use it. Just knowing that I could helped my fast so much calmer and it wasn't so bad
