givat zeev info? making aliyah. need all the help I cld get!

I came across imamother through a google search on givat zeev.
We are a light chasiddish couple with two kids. Boy 4 years old, girl almost 3. we currently live in England.
We are making aliyah hopefully in two months and I am trying to get info on Givat Zeev hachadasha.
Which kind of people live there? are there english families there? are the people friendly there? if I live there I would be there without fam in the area. would the fams there invite eachother for shabbos or something?
whats the situation with schools and cheder?
I am just really nervous about this move and I want it to be right.
I dont want to live in an area where I will get banned for having internet or a smartphone (I once got sprayed with teargas in jerusalem for my wig too long...)
any help or tips you can give will be really helpfull!!
