I shop at major department stores in the USA.
Walmart has a 7 pack of Hanes boxers for about $16. That seems like a good price but we dont need 7 pairs.
DH is not planning to wear the boxers as underwear. He is looking for something loose fitting to use as pajamas. He only needs a few pairs.
Looking online it seems that cotton shorts are even more expensive then boxers.
Where can I buy this cheap?

If boxers will do the trick, buy the 7 pack and save the rest, or donate them to tzedaka.
You can also try Target, or even the drugstore/supermarket for packaged Hanes products.

At Target, individually for $5 each. I'm not sure of Marshall's prices, but they may be similar pricing for more recognized brands.

Marshalls sells them individually and in packs of three or so. Price varies depending on brand and whether it's a clearance item or not.

It seems strange to me that someone who usually shops in department stores would quibble over a few dollars' difference in the price of boxer shorts; department stores are usually much more expensive than Walmart/Target/Marshall's.
Anyhow, Target/Walmart have websites; why don't you check them? This shouldn't be a major project.

lol when I wrote department stores I meant walmart and tjmaxx. I do not shop in stores like nordstroms or bloomingdales lol.
Prices are often different in stores and online. Thats why I posted here.

Honestly, that price is so low that you should just buy them. Its certainly lower than I've ever seen them, and lower than hanes.com
