Definitely cauli-rice or cauli-mash. Or shirataki noodles, if you like the flavour. (Mileage varies on this!)

Spaghetti squash.
Slice zucchinis and onion and cook that with the meatballs in the sauce and its a whole dietetic meal in a pot.
Meatballs also go well with lightly salted steamed broccoli florets.

Coarsely shred carrots and cabbage, and give it a very quick stir fry, just enough to be limp. Add seasonings that you like, and keep warm. Sliced mushrooms are a nice addition, too. Serve with sliced green onions on top for garnish and extra color. Don't go for any soy sauce-ginger-asian type spices, because they will clash with the meatballs. Just olive oil, salt, pepper, and maybe a dash of paprika will be fine.
