Unfortunately babies born at 24 weeks, esp without steroids, face incredible hurdles. Many dont make it and many face a lifetime of developmental disabilities. Sadly in this case the worst happened :-(. May Hashem give them a lot of koach to handle this incredibly difficult time.

Ugh. This sucks. I've known them for a long while now - heck, DH and I had just started dating when we went to their wedding and Leora was my roommate in college. It's all terribly sad

I just wanted to give a quick update... on this post from almost 3 years ago.
MAZAL TOV to Leora on the birth of a healthy baby girl yesterday! (3.3kilos, born at 38+weeks)
