I ordered salmon gefilte fish, but my delivery company sent me a roll of unsweetened regular instead. We only eat the sweetened type. What can I do with this? Can someone give me a good recipe for savory gefilte fish?
I already cooked the roll to see if I like it, and I don't. I'm hoping I can slice it, lay it in a pan, and find some sort of yummy sauce to pour over it when I reheat it.

Defrost it, sweeten it, shape into balls and boil them.
Or sweeten, spread onto rolled puff pastry and bake. Top with a dill sauce or chreinnaise
Fry as patties, add lots of fried onions
Hatzlacha!

I usually cook gef fish balls (defrosted, add chopped parsleys/ginger,) in tomato sauce.
For this recipe unsweetened works better.
