Someone gave us a few packages of this semi-soft cheese- it's from Tnuva, called Adi/Beri, and says something like "Soft cheese made from cow's milk". It comes in a triangle container and is wrapped in paper. It has a white skin and is yellow inside. I am wondering what it would be called in English and how to eat it- particularly if you eat the white outside part or not. It seems good spread on crackers or similar. Does anyone have any ideas for recipes to use such a thing? Thanks!

Some sort of brie? If so, let it warm to room temp and spread on crackers.

Hmm I looked up Brie and could be it is that. If so, I still can't tell- are you meant to eat that outside tougher white layer? Do you try to blend it with the inside creaminess to spread it, or just trim that part off?

You can eat the rind if you want to. Some people don't like it. Taste it and decide.
