AHHH - they just moved up our flight by a couple of days but we dont have a place to live yet! We had a house and the landlord just changed her mind and decided not to rent to us, and we are now homeless! We have 4 kids, a dog, and a Savta, so we need a fairly large place (at least 5 bedrooms). If you hear of anything in Bet Shemesh Alef, Chashmonaim, Efrat, etc. for rent, please let me know! We are open to suggestions, in any Dati Leumi Torani place.
Thanks,
Desperate and Freaking out!

Seems to have quite a few rentals (mostly Efrat)
Or this (private rental) from October
Very nice and spacious 5 bedroom house (attached on both sides) for rent.
Available as of October 1st.
Hagoren Street
Nice Garden
Call Yosef at 052-384-7208
Or
Available for rent, short or long-term, after the chagim: 5 bedroom, 3
bath, 203 sq.m. house with front and back yards, enormous kitchen, large
dining/living room, utility room, and plenty of storage space. Fantastic
location, near sports fields, shopping, library, and schools.
I have been renting this house for five years. The landlord lives across
the street and has been extraordinarily responsible about dealing with
repairs.
Please contact Abby for more information: abbyhazony@... or

Thank you - I saw one of those, but we really need to find someplace that will be available sooner - even if we would find somewhere else to stay in the interim, I want the kids to be able to start school on time.

This is the most stressful thing, EVER!
I'm terrified of the gap between the time your shipping container leaves, and the time you arrive and have to find housing. I have two dogs, and I know that if I need to stay someplace until I find the right rental it's going to be a nightmare.
What do I sleep on? Hotels don't allow dogs! All of my friends live far from where we're going.
HOW TO PEOPLE MANAGE THIS???

I am the amother above (anon because I still have to tell my employer about when I am leaving). After I posted we got an email about an apartment in RBS A and we took it. But then, we don't have any pets which I imagine can make things harder. Can you leave the pet with friends or family in the US until you are settled in Israel?

Are there really so many people making aliyah with no home/apartment ready before they arrive?
Where do you stay if you have no place yet? That would s scary.
I guess there are always hotels.
Good luck all of you women and your families.
And welcome home when you get here.

If we didn't find a place we would have stayed with friends or family or taken a short term furnished rental until we found a place. But Baruch HaShem we found a place and hopefully we will have friends order beds and a washer/dryer for us so that will be all set up when we arrive.

The dog must travel with you - its not easy importing a pet - a lot of paperwork involved that has to be done no more than 10 days of travel, and other that has to be done within 2 days of departure!!! IM me so we can find park benches near each other so our homeless dogs will have company!
