Looking to buy some new educational toys to have for children I will be working with, ages 3-5?
What are your favorite?

Anything that doesn't have lights or music. Toys that kids have to play with themselves.
Very popular in that age group: magnatiles, blocks, clics or other building toys, large floor puzzles, dress up/anything to play house, toy dinosaur figurines and people mentchies, trucks

Definitely Magnatiles! I forgot about that. Although my 3yr old nephew throws them and the corners are so sharp - he gave my older nephew a huge welt on top of his eye
But my 5 yr old nephew can be busy with Magnatiles for a long while. He is an aspiring architect!

In what context do you work with them? Are you looking for games to play WITH them or things for them to play with besides you?
