I recently bought a pair of Hunter rain boots, and had a few questions about them. First of all, I got the knee-length ones, but I am quite short- would it have made more sense to get the mid-calf ones? I don't want my legs getting wetter than they have to, but on the other hand, I'm wondering if the mid-calf ones might be more comfortable to get in and out of and walk around with? Also, do u have to wear the wells, in order for them to fit properly?
If you have experience with these boots, please let me know what you think. Thanks!

I got the calf ones last yr (I'm tall) the knee high weren't comfortable to walk in the calf height was much better. They r great in the rain and in the snow with the fleece sock liner you stay dry and warm.

thanks 4 responding... doesn't half ur leg get wet, esp if ur tall? I live in a v.rainy place, and hate being wet. also, is it possible to stay warm and dry w/o the customised socks?

I never got wet. But I'm more in and out if the car. I don't walk to much. You don't need custom socks I got them off the rack in lord and Taylor. You will stay dry but if your walking in the snow I recommend the socks to keep you feet warm.
