My baby, 3.5 months, is generally happy and content. She started out taking a paci very easily and seemingly enjoying it. Last week she developed a cold, stuffy nose and all, and before I realized she totally weaned herself from the paci. Instead 'I' became her paci! I Don't know what to do?? She cried a lot these past few days and only calmed down when I fed her. Any suggestions how to get her to take the paci again?

No advice just know it's normal.
They cannot breathe with a pacifier in the mouth when the nose is stuffy!
Good luck on getting her used to it again...

It's normal for an infant to do this.
When we have a cold and our throat is sore, we drink extra. Same here. She needs and wants the extra fluids.
Also, she may be going through a growth spurt and needing to nurse more often to increase your supply. Let her nurse as often as she wants.
Try nursing her in a steamy bathroom, then loosening the latch before she is all the way asleep and giving her the paci. It may take a few days of this post recovery before she adjusts, but she will probably be willing to take the paci again at times..
