Can someone help me out? My meat cooking skills are a major work in progress. I am looking for a recipe for a 2.5 lb chuck roast that can be frozen and doesn't have use a lot of processed ingredients. Bonus points if I can use the crockpot. Thanks!

my inlaws boil it for about 45 min and then slice it and boil it some more with some spices (I can look it up for you later if you want it) Its really soft and tasty and hard to mess up (no coming out to dry)
you for sure can do the second part in the crockpot (prob the first boil too, just would take longer). We have frozen the slices with a bit of juice in serving sizes and used for shabbos meals in the past and it tastes great.
