My son was enrolled in a cheider in Boro Park that closed down 2 weeks ago without giving notice. I tried applying all over but I am not having any luck. Nobody cares that there are kids out there that have nowhere to go. Classes are full and nobody is accepting.

tough age, that's when most schools fill up really early. do you have a family rav who can help you? meanwhile, look into basic day care options if you can't have him home. you may just not be able to get him into yeshiva this year.

My son is a very smart kid, above average. He knows all colors and shapes. He knows the alef beis, ABC's, and numbers forward and backwards. He will not be happy in a daycare. If it was up to me I would skip the kidergarden and put him up a grade but I dont think any cheider would let a 4 year old kid go up a grade.

smart kid doesn't make a difference here, unfortunately. you can definitely ask that he skip a grade, it happens sometimes. some daycares, btw, have great UPK programs. my son went to one for kindergarten. they had a great hebrew curriculum as well, and it was noticeably cheaper than yeshiva. unfortunately, that one closed. I'd give you the info otherwise. but it's worth looking into, and a smart child will actually be very happy in that kind of situation.

I don't think now is the time to laugh at OP's expense. Not that there is ever a right time for that, especially under Amother.

I know. Most ppl dont get it. I am looking for a regular chasidish place. Not Satmar, Viznitz, Bobov. More like Munkatch, Gan Israel, Kalish, etc. I want chasidish but I dont need my sons classmates to make fun of him that his mother does this or that....

I wasn't laughing at OP's expense. Just that sentence made me laugh. Good luck with finding a school OP.

OP have you tried bais simcha?
It is a preschool and goes up to age 5, very mixed crowd, chasidish, modern, you name it. My son is there and I am keeping him there for now, gives me more time to find a school to accept him.

PM for more details if you are interested.

I don't want to put my son into a new place to put him into another new place for next year. He was in a playgroup last year. For now I'm sending him back there hopefully only for a few weeks till I find a cheider for him.

I don't think Lakewood is any better. Or Monsey. Or any other place.
