I would like to go visit family in Lakewood this Shabbat. I would be traveling with my husband, my baby and luggage. Is there anyone who is going this week and would like to share a car or could give us a ride for $50 Thursday night? Or knows some other way we could get there that is not very expensive? or if someone could take us somewhere else in the area, my relatives could pick us up from somewhere nearby, such as Deal or Long Branch or Howell, or whatever. If you have a way to get to Brooklyn, there's a Lakewood bus. Lakewoodexpress.com.
Or if you can get to Manhattan, Port Authority, there's the NJ Transit bus (non-Jewish). They have a website.
And keep in mind that Deal/Long Branch is not exactly in the area. It can be a 30-40 minute ride and hard to get to if unfamiliar with that area.
