My DD is in 7th grade and was asked to babysit overnight, to sleep there. I live in BP
How much do people pay?

My 8th grader got $5 an hr during the day.
By the way, your dd should get paid per hour until the parents come home.

I would pay $6-8 per hour for a high school girl but over night probably $8.

I know someone who pays $50-$75 depending on the hours and what was involved.

She had a high school girl, but I think if you calculate per hour... it's not expensive. If you are uncomfortable with $75, I think $50 is definitely fair and not too much for overnight. If she has a problem with the number, she will let you know and you can negotiate it.
