I don't understand why the child didn't put up a fight or cry everyday when he had to go to the babysitter???? and yes she acted really irresponsibly. She should have realized something was up when her child who was barely a yr old was eating adult sized meals!

This story was seriously disturbing.
Anyway, is it really possible to force feed a 9-12 month old? At that age, kids don't understand consequences at all. If they don't want to eat anymore, they push away the food, or take it in and immediately spit it out.
It sounds like too many details were changed; this one isn't believable. I wonder what the real story is.

Of course it's possible to force feed babies. I know six month olds who were force fed as part of their "feeding therapy."

I too, did not sleep after reading this. What an awful story! And the fact that this mother took no action against the babysitter is criminal.
