The last threads were from three years ago. We are not yeshivahs and not MO, but in the middle. I'm tznius, cover my hair, we don't have a tv, dh wears a kippah seruga but davens three time a day with a minyan, learns daily, etc. We're not fancy.
We want for our children excellent limudei chol and kodesh.
Is waterbury a good fit for us?

Is there a reason you want to be in the CT area? I have visited a few times to Waterbury and it seems to be more yeshivish but honestly you should go check it our for a shabbos. There is only one school, and a pizza store. Would you consider Baltimore?

I don't think you'll find other kipah srugah wearers in waterbury. Forsure not in the blueridge neighborhood.
Unless you don't care about that.

is it important to you to be in the tristate area?
if not, there are better OOT options in my opinion.
