My main preferences are as stated above.
It should be small (not large)
and black.

Black and small? There are literally hundreds of options. You have to give more details. For example, does it have to be designer? If so, how high end? If not, what's your budget? Do you need an everyday piece, or a more dressy one?

Clutch, shoulder, cross-body. How small is small.

It doesnt have to be designer but shouldn't look like a target bag either. Come to think of it, maybe I should go with designer since many bags I had in the past were imitations and looked like it too!

There are thousands of small black handbags. This is not a hard item to find.
Why don't you look on-line (dept store websites, Amazon, etc.)?
Or go into a store and look at merchandise??
