My 5 year old daughter has very hairy arms and legs. I mentioned it to the Dr who was not concerned. Anyone have any experience with this? Does it indicate that she will have hormal problems later on in life? Do I let it go or delve deeper- like endocrinologist? Please help.
I do not want to alarm you, because it might be she is just hairy, but someone I know personally had this issue and took her daughter to an endocrinologist and found out she had a serious disease.
Because she found out it was treatable and now B"H her daughter is fine.
Better safe than sorry, I would suggest taking her to an endocrinologist just in case.
