There is a scam call going now by people pretending to be the IRS and telling people they owe money. They are very convincing. A coworker showed me an article about a monsey man that fell for it and she also has a friend who was pretty close to paying them.

THE IRS DOES NOT COMMUNICATE BY PHONE.
If you indeed owe them money they will send you notices in the mail. Please be aware and spread this around. Hang up on anyone claiming to be an IRS agent and telling you that you owe back taxes!

And, on a similar note, Microsoft does NOT call you either about a problem with your computer or because you've downloaded bad things. Also fake calls that are getting very common.
